The true essence of Alchemy is to understand the relationship that all things have with each other, which is to have true wisdom.-Benjamin Bagenski
I have always seen myself as an alchemist. My friend Jackie (who is the Artist up at The Loft where I do my readings) said to a gentleman that meandered up the stairs today “Leisa brings magic with her when she is here, people will always drift up the stairs when she arrives and some don’t know why they are even here, they just walk up as if in a dream”. I do have to say this happens not because of me, but because of the wonderful energies that we have blended together to create The Loft!
People have always said that I make them instantly feel at ease and safe around me, they feel driven to share the contents of their heart, and I listen with gentleness and acceptance and give them encouragement on their journey, and reassure them that all of life has a beauty and an unseen purpose of which we are a part, and of which we can become more active participants in the unfolding of the magic, and to know that we even create the magic.
Our history is what we marinate in. I think most people are detached from this truth, but it really is truth, and what we marinate in becomes who we are. Our history is what creates the energy in our body, so I have the ability to gently shine a light lovingly on what peoples histories are and how it consistently shows up in their lives.
They are often stunned with how quickly they see and feel the truth of what I say, and that is when the alchemical process truly begins.
It is such an honor to witness that spark of understanding.
I am grateful to be gifted with the skills of an alchemist, I have been an alchemist for many lifetimes, and I love it. It shows, the gentleman today commented on my energy and how wonderful it felt, and how clear and blue my eyes are.
This moment is all you have
Laugh because you can
Cry because you can
Sigh because you can
Love because you can
Do everything! Because you can
That is why you are here
to experience all of what you can
and the possibilities of all that you can become
Become a silent witness observe this exquisite play
and please know
you write your own script
every single day
when you hear a phrase repeated over and over in your mind, I think its worth digging about for a deeper understanding, an exploration of the phrase. mortal coil mortal coil mortal coil mortal coil has been singing in my head all day
Serendipity is everywhere
Perhaps then we will not be shuffling off..but maybe beginning a new cycle. a new paradigm. a new dream.
To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether ’tis Nobler in the mind to suffer
The Slings and Arrows of outrageous Fortune,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them: to die, to sleep
No more; and by a sleep, to say we end
The Heart-ache, and the thousand Natural shocks
That Flesh is heir to? ‘Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die to sleep,
To sleep, perchance to Dream; Aye, there’s the rub,
For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There’s the respect
That makes Calamity of so long life:
For who would bear the Whips and Scorns of time,
The Oppressor’s wrong, the proud man’s Contumely,
The pangs of despised Love, the Law’s delay,
The insolence of Office, and the Spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his Quietus make
With a bare Bodkin? Who would Fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered Country, from whose bourn
No Traveller returns, Puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have,
Than fly to others that we know not of.
Thus Conscience does make Cowards of us all,
And thus the Native hue of Resolution
Is sicklied o’er, with the pale cast of Thought,
And enterprises of great pitch and moment,
With this regard their Currents turn awry,
And lose the name of Action. Soft you now,
The fair Ophelia? Nymph, in thy Orisons
Be all my sins remembered.
And we will become like the gentle Mamaku unferling to a new world
Reminds me of Barry Brailsfords wise words
I am Tree Fern
I am new life
Reaching high to embrace the light
I am courage
The promise bound within the seed
I am knowledge
Birthing love from understanding
I am great strength
Cloaked in subtleness and beauty
I am woman
Speaking to woman and to man
I am Mamaku
Diversity – Elegance – Beauty
And the sheer abundance of wondrous life
Uplifts the spirit and reminds us…
Creation folds and unfolds each day
And we are part of it in every way
Feeling grief snapping at my heels today
I tried to shake the feelings out through my hands, but it needed to come down deep into my womb and it needs to rest there awhile, where I know I will connect with my ancestors and journey forward towards the next step.
I wanna sit on the earth and merge with her, some moments I just feel so frozen..but this too shall pass, everything does.
Just keep b r e a t h i n g
